Jurnal Ilmiah Ekotrans & Erudisi (JIEE) (E-ISSN 2777-0184; P-ISSN 2797-2259) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Ekasakti, Padang, Indonesia. Established in 2021, JIEE publishes scholarly articles twice a year, in June and December, to advance and disseminate research in the social and political sciences, public administration, governance, and related fields.
The journal provides a platform for scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to engage with theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented questions. Its areas of interest include public administration, public policy, governance, leadership, organizational behaviour, strategic management, operations management, human resource management, knowledge management, corporate governance, management information systems, and law. Interdisciplinary contributions are welcomed when they establish a meaningful connection to the journal's stated scope.
JIEE welcomes manuscripts employing qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, comparative, or other methodologically appropriate approaches. The journal prioritizes submissions with a clearly defined research problem, engagement with relevant scholarship, rigorous analysis, and an identifiable scholarly contribution. Submissions are initially assessed for scope and editorial suitability, and manuscripts selected for external evaluation undergo double-blind peer review. Publication decisions remain the responsibility of the editorial team.
JIEE is committed to ethical scholarly publishing, appropriate acknowledgement of sources, transparency regarding research methods, and responsible management of conflicts of interest and research-integrity concerns. Published articles are freely accessible to readers. Authors and readers should consult the current journal policies for the applicable terms of copyright, licensing, peer review, and article processing charges.
The journal holds a historical SINTA 5 accreditation record under Decree No. 152/E/KPT/2023, covering Vol. 1 No. 1 (2021) through Vol. 5 No. 2 (2025). This statement refers to the issue coverage specified in the accreditation certificate and does not imply that a new accreditation decision has been issued for later volumes.
