Advertising Policy
1) Purpose & Scope
This policy outlines principles, types, approval processes, and placement of advertising in/on Jurnal Ilmiah Ekotrans & Erudisi (online and/or print).
2) Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are entirely independent. Advertisements shall not be related in any way to editorial decision-making and are always kept separate from published scholarly content.
3) Governance & Decision-Making
Acceptance/rejection of ads is decided by the Editor in Chief, not by the Editorial Board handling manuscripts. Any potential conflicts of interest are identified and managed in accordance with the journal’s ethics policy.
4) Types of Advertising Considered
We consider advertising relevant to the scholarly community, including (but not limited to):

Conferences, calls for papers, academic books/monographs

Research/publishing services (e.g., software, training)

Academic recruitment
Other categories may be considered at the Editor’s discretion.
5) Prohibited Advertising
We do not accept ads that are: misleading; masquerading as editorial; unlawful; containing hate speech, discrimination, pornography, or unethical content; related to restricted/illegal products or services; or that create material editorial conflicts of interest.
6) Placement, Linking, & Targeting

Placement: Ads appear in clearly designated areas (e.g., sidebar/footer/sponsors page) and are prominently labeled “Advertisement.”

Linkage to content/reader behaviour (online):

Option A (recommended): Ads are not linked to specific article content or reader behaviour; delivery is random/non-contextual.

Option B (if you allow it): Ads may be contextual or behaviour-based with explicit user consent and privacy controls; still no influence over editorial processes.

7) Labelling, Transparency, & Sponsorship
All ads and paid content are clearly labeled (“Advertisement,” “Sponsorship,” or “Sponsored Content”). Sponsored content, if any, is not part of peer review and is clearly distinguished from scholarly articles.
8) Privacy & Data
Any ad tracking technologies (e.g., cookies) will be disclosed in the Privacy Policy, comply with applicable regulations, and, where required, obtain user consent.
9) Right to Refuse or Withdraw
Jurnal Ilmiah Ekotrans & Erudisi reserves the right to refuse or withdraw any advertisement at any time that violates this policy/ethics or applicable laws.
