Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola konsumsi pangan rumah tangga dan implikasinya terhadap ketahanan pangan di wilayah rawan kekeringan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Nagari Padang Toboh Ulakan, Kecamatan Ulakan Tapakih, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, Sumatera Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif-analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola konsumsi pangan rumah tangga masih didominasi oleh beras, dengan konsumsi sayuran, buah-buahan, dan protein hewani yang rendah. Hal ini menyebabkan kerawanan pangan, terutama pada rumah tangga berpenghasilan rendah. Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara pola konsumsi pangan dan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga. Oleh karena itu, diversifikasi konsumsi pangan menjadi strategi penting untuk memperbaiki ketahanan pangan rumah tangga, khususnya bagi rumah tangga berpendapatan rendah di wilayah rawan kekeringan.
